The Engaging Culture course is a series of four
half-day seminars that build, over time, into a powerful
apologetics curriculum. It is designed to offer the participant
a wealth of information, resources and practical tools he or
she can use to share the good news of Christ more effectively
with friends, neighbours and colleagues. We believe this is one
way we are partnering with churches to help their people
engage in conversations of faith.
Westney Heights Baptist Church in Ajax is excited to announce a special event this spring! “His Girls”, is a mother/daughter day, taking place on Saturday, May 12.
Vicki Courtney will be our live special guest, she is a gifted speaker, teen culture expert, and author of the book “5 Conversations you must have with your Daughter”. This is specifically geared to moms and their daughters between grades 5 and 12, but nieces, friends, Sunday School classes, anyone who fits that age group are more than welcome.
We know that society and the media are sending our girls all kinds of different messages, this one day conference will talk about who they are in God’s eyes, and will give practical help for moms and the teenage years. There will also be music, fun, prizes, and great food!
